Dear KYC Members,

Given the ‘stage one’ national coronavirus response announced last night the KYC Committee has sadly abandoned all of the remaining 2020 season’s planned activities and races.

The after Christmas Twilight series results will be calculated including last week’s race results. Placegetters and prize winners from each race series will be announced via email, the webpage and Facebook sites. We would hope to be able to celebrate these 2020 achievements, together, when Tasmania emerges from this unprecedented crisis.

The Committee acknowledges and profoundly thanks all of the volunteers who have, through their efforts, made this season a really great one for the club.

While the tiers of Governments are doing what they can to ensure we remain below the ‘curve’ medically through social isolation processes it is clubs like ours that will ensure that all of our members remain socially connected albeit at a distance. This is the time for us to shine as a group and to make sure we check in on all members and their extended family to ensure we remain physically and mentally strong through these uncharted times.
