Boat Registration

For all KYC sailing events all boats must be registered on Sailsys: 

• The skipper or boat manager needs an active Sail Sys account 
  • Login in to Sailsys   or 
  • Register a new account on Sailsys  
• Select the 'Boats' option 
  • Add your boat if not already registered 

And the mandatory compliance documents must be uploaded into the 'File Library'in the boat's 'View' details page. These are 

• A current insurance certificate of currency as supplied from your insurer
• A current self assessed safety form for the level of the event or higher
• Blank safty forms are available at  www.sailingresources.org.au/safety/equipment-auditing-forms/

The registration of your boat is a one time requirement for your ownership of the boat 

Entry of compliance documents is required annually. Once on Sailsys the compliance documents can be conviently shared when entering events with other clubs.  

On Sailsys KYC recommends maintaining the picture(s) of your boat(s) and other boat(s) details that may be useful for provding assistance in adverse or extreme situations
