Safety and Insurance Forms

Skippers are advised that appropriate safety audit form (Cat 5 or Cat 7) and yacht insurance certificate of currency documents are to be provided during the SailSys Enter Race process before competing any KYC hosted race.

Safety Forms

• can be downloaded from https://www.sailingresources.org.au/safety/equipment-auditing-forms/
• self-completed and signed audit forms are sufficient.
• Cat 5 safety equipment is a requirement for KYC long distance races.
• Cat 7 safety equipment is a requirement for KYC twilight races, Derwent Only and Short courses.

Certificate of Currency

• provided by your insurance company 
• are also required for use of Oyster Cove Marina facilities

SailSys 

All documents need to be uploaded to SailSys on the first SailsSys Enter Race for the season. For other SailsSys Enter Race these documents maybe be linked during Enter Race process.  

   If you do not have a Sailsys account then create and account and proceed from the 'Login' step 
   If your boat is not regsitered on Sailsys then add the boat (and associated useful information ) and proceed to Enter Race
