First Aid Training & Certification

Published Thu 25 Jun 2026

KYC will be running a first aid course on Sunday August 2 at the club house. The course will start at 10.00 am and finish by 4.00 pm with a no cost sausage sizzle for lunch. This is a professional qualification giving participants a First Aid certification valid for three years.

It includes a CPR component and as the course is being run by KYC it will have an emphasis on first aid issues relevant to boating and water activities.
The cost is $150 per person, a huge saving on the average cost of $230 which is normally charged by the major service providers. The trainer for the KYC course is Mark Maumill.
